This mixed-media painting was originally created for my mom. It’s a running family joke that her “signature color” is turquoise. Everything she picks from clothing to furniture always has turquoise or teal in it. So, this piece pulls together her favorite color with mine, gold. I played around with lots of coloring blending, texture and movement.
